Hunter might like this book — it has many aspects typical of her work. Darius wants her to sell it. The staff did a commendable job with the catalog. Three years ago, unbeknownst to Emma, her father sold a half share to Darius Alfreton, the Earl of Southwaite. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. A woman running a prestigious London sutrender house? Hunter is a very good technical writer and she invests this book with historical authenticity.

There is another way to achieve her surrender, one far more pleasurable for both of them The female protagonist became passive and malleable towards the end, and eventually just followed orders and became a pawn. Never Deny a Duke. I was afraid that you were most displeased by something. A man could not look like this and not know just how perfect his face appeared. Yet even that was a kind of drab enjoyment. He is most certainly dead. She sat there, suspiciously composed. Even the sex scenes where described as him doing things to a rather passive recipient. The hero never did have to check his domineering tendencies.
