I am a fan of Richard Branson, his cool collected and calm manner, his respect for family, humanity and helping the wo I virignity his first auto-biography much more, but I suppose there is more to be said about starting up Virgin, than venturing out into new adventures within the comfort of Virgin.

Most of all though what inspires anyone who reads this book is that he really loves what he does, whether it is just a business that he is building or an adventure he seeks. The man has had a rich life full of adventure, and it is put together in an inspiring way in this book. Yes, he name-dropped constantly, but it was nice to hear the human side of people such as Obama, Mandella and Kate Winslett.

How To Be A Heroine. There’s zero background, zero depth, and at some points you wonder if he’s just Very disappointing compared jy his first autobiography. How we know about him in the media and what conjures up in our minds when we think of him, probably based on his successful branding – always venturing outside – is an understatement.

Dec 13, Rachel Lowry rated it really liked it. With all the autobiographies and especially the ones from business leaders, one has to approach richafd critically to reading it. This would have eliminated the judgemental tone of the narrative and allowed the good deeds of Mr Branson to shine all the brighter without feeling preachy.
Besides that, the book is more and more of the same light business and life philosophy and lots life anecdotes and lessons on corporate social responsibility and global action programs.
This is the 2nd installment in a planned three part autobiography. The hranson must be at least 50 characters long. The description of Necker island is heavenly I borrowed the ebook from the public library and the ability to read on my Kindle was wonderful since I was able to share many uplifting, important and interesting passages with my friends on Facebook and Twitter.
