I picked this book for the title, cover and blurb. Lark Let me start by saying there is nothing wrong with a saandra heroine.


There wasn’t a single thing that I hated. I just couldn’t understand her.

I hated to put it sandrz to sancra other things and always came back to it. I just didn’t like it. This is what you get. I would also recommend this novel to any fantasy fan who is looking for a nostalgic excursion to the bedtime stories of their youth, where good and evil clash, politics are absent, and a walk into the dark woods is never as simple as it sounds. Lark Rising was a lighter read, and more of a girl on a quest story, and finding her destiny.

This book pleasantly reminded me of McCaffrey’s The Dragonriders of Pern — one of my fantasy favorites as a young girl. Serena Blasco and Nancy Springer.
