A Novel Grant County Author s: A Faint Cold Fear. Not many authors can change my mind when I’ve decided a character is the pits. Do you recall what types of stories you wrote and read at that age? To date, which of your secondary characters is your personal favorite, and why? On the other hand: Predictably, Sara is upset.

Slaughter’s characters talk in believable dialogue. The only serious downside to me in this particular book is that the narrator was changed for the audio book. Soon, they both realize something is under the dirt.

I think I’ll just take a bit of a break before I read the last book of the Grant County series, in the hope that I will forget the spoilers!
