I can usually work out some slower stuff like the first part off altitudes i start to figure out a few weeks ago but i dont know how you can work out the fast bits.
Technique-wise, it’ll all become second-nature within a few years anyways. To me it really sounds like jaaon is something more going on that. He used the second one. The overall tonality hardly changes, so just do what you feel is most comfortable.

Jason Becker Altitudes proper way to play arpeggios. The reason I play other musicians music is to learn from them and jaason it their way. My ear is pretty well developed, most stuff i can usually transcribe.

If you like the sound of sliding in the middle of it, then do the second one. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character. These are the three ways I have seen it played, the last one listed here is from the official tab book, though official tab books are often not very accurate. You can probably find the demo with a search engine or download the full program from Kazaa or something not that I’m advocating piracy.
