Amy Hardwick has one last season in Londo This book reminded me why historical romance was my first favorite genre as a young reader. Julia Quinn is the best of the best when it comes vicoy historical romance. As much as I wish I could go back to this time period and wear the fancy dresses and attend the balls myself, I guess I have to be contempt with reading about it which is perfectly okay with me if they end up being as awesome as this book!
I found myself smiling and laughing out loud on numerous occasions. Unfortunately for all his winning, he ends up in debt for 20, pounds!

I’ve loved the characters of Amy and Georgette since the first book in the series, drejling maybe I was hoping for more in “their story” Amy gets to be the lead, while Georgette has a small supporting love story.
She is definitely one of my favorite characters. Sins he’d much rather forget. I cannot wait to get my hands on it! And she doesn’t back down from Will either.

He rwke this “Devil” persona and is regaled as one of the biggest rake’s in ton and also has no feelings but I didn’t really see that side of him.
I did like the fact that we got to revisit Hawk hlw Julianne and Tristan and Tessa for a bit. It is no easy feat in Viking-Age Norway, where a hundred petty rulers kill over parcels of land, and a prophesied high king is rising. I liked the way the author took her time to set up the background on both of these characters and then she placed them in some complicated and interesting situations which made both take a very serious look at their past, present and future.
I look forward to reading more from this author. I have found my new favorite Historical Romance author! Will fi Amy is a wallflower who has decided that this will be her last Season and is determined to get away from her unflattering reputation. I liked Will, but also I didn’t think he deserved to be called ‘the devil’. I like her sense of humour, which extends to her characters and their stories. As an only child, Amy has had more freedom than most women in society during this time period but it also seems that she has a hard time coming to grips with how society limits her actions.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming romance with a touch of humor and fun. Which it seems works perfectly with Will’s plans to marry an heiress to pay off his gambling debts. We need to use ragish to do this. The book is peppered with familiar characters from the previous two books in the series, but this works well as a standalone.
