He saved Peyton Lockhart’s life when they were kids — but now she’s all grown up and he’s a seasoned FBI agent who comes to her rescue again in the new. When a woman’s dream for the future turns into a nightmare, a handsome FBI agent makes her vulnerable to more than she ever imagined in this novel. I don’t know what it is about Julie Garwood that keeps her at the top of my eagerly awaiting list. Her heroines typically are gorgeous and naïve.

Aug 09, Jacqueline rated hotshog really liked it Shelves: I really enjoy Ms Garwood’s contemporaries. I really enjoyed that one — set in the bayou — and laughed a lot. The back up cast was endearing and charming — well most were anyway.

Stay in Touch Sign up. Despite these quibbles, julid book works. Finn is on the job and although they become close he’s in denial that he he loves her can’t leave her alone. Okay I reallllly enjoyed this installment to the series.

Read between 9 pm and 1: Finn comes over one night and she has cooked for him.

Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard #11)

I enjoyed this book but I’m not sure why. What kept this book from DIK status for me was there was just a little too much going on.

I may have had a different opinion October Reread and Review Solid 4. A graduate of a prestigious Fren 1 New York Times bestselling author Julie Garwoid returns with a novel of family drama, suspense, and—of course—romance. For example, I guessed exactly how Peyton planned to expose Drew, for sexual harassment.

Will Finn open his eyes and his heart to Peyton?

Synopsis – Julie Garwood

There’s not an unforgettable knockout iulie but the balance between romance and suspense was refreshing and quite entertaining. I don’t want children — there’s too much evil in the world.

This book is set for publication on August 6, I don’t know where to start. Finn MacBain meets Peyton Lockhart when she’s a little girl in the beginning of this book. Debi was the smartest of the bunch — and she’s the antagonist.

As a person who has read nearly every J. I used to be a Ju,ie fan of hers, and her historical novels always work as the perfect pick me up. However this novel lacks everything that makes a Julie Garwood novel great. I almost never give 1 star reviews and I am very surprised to do it for hotsnot Julie Garwood book.

I’m so used to reading book after book of great stories from her that whenever she releases something new I gareood immediately grab it to read asap.

He was constantly in trouble and anytime a neighbor came to call, they automatically assumed there was trouble afoot and Finn was the cause. I could list many more, but this book isn’t worth any more of my time to complain about. Peyton has no choice but to trust him to do it again. But, I guess that went with him being a “hotshot”. If they knew each other as kids, I like to read about it rather than just flashbacks.

Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard, #11) by Julie Garwood

hotahot The chemistry between Peyton and Finn is off the charts even as he fights it tooth and nail. Hotshot delivered a wonderful escape from reality, provided a few good laughs and kept me entertained till the end.

The resort that is their future livelihood seems to be beset with attempts to sabotage the opening date and drive up their budget, such that they are teetering on the brink of failure.

Penguin eBooks Publication Date: Seeing an all grown up Peyton at his brother’s wedding has him thinking of the woman he’s known since she was a little girl in a new light.

Thank God Peyton was nothing like the typical heroine in these kinds of books. There is nothing offensive in it.

Garwood lives in Leawood, KS and is currently working on her next novel. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.

And it is her own uncle’s properties. After all those things. That might have worked if some of the scenarios hadn’t seemed implausible.
