Classic, but not as good as when I read it as a teen; I can’t remember why it resonated with me so much. I enjoyed the story line of a kid named Brennan living an overall normal life, only to be faced with the challenge of finding a skull with a bullet wound in it while on a camping trip.


That was a cool perspective to read it in. Coyote Runs, an Apache boy, takes part in his first raid. I felt that canyonns ending seemed a bit rushed, especially towards the end when Cznyons mind was telling him so specifically where to pla This was an interesting story. The book was an easy read, easy to understand book. This is a simple story which feels epic. I think this book was worth spending the time to read because it is a book that is exciting and it makes you want to keep reading it.

I really enjoyed pajlsen Canyons but I also live in the Tularosa Valley where this book was supposed to take place. The alternating chapters made me feel like I bary reading two books which was great. The story starts with Brennan making a short narrative about his life and switches back and forth from Brennan and Coyote Runs. Brannon is having a bad time and is not very social.
