Unfortunately, this is the concluding book in the Fast Track series. We appreciate your feedback.

She certainly came up with the perfect complement to “Open 24 hours”! Somewhere between cocktails and a smoking-hot motel-room derby, it does more than that. There was never any other mccarthj of her to see. Nov 03, Sheryl rated it it was amazing Shelves: Quotes from Jacked Up. While she didn’t set out to hurt Nolan, she did just that.

Eve and Nolan’s banter is amusing and, at times, had me laughing out loud. That stuff drives me bonkers, and I can’t not mention it. Plus there is the fact that Nolan is kind of from a different social strata than her, which worries him so it is not all honeymoon stage, it is adjusting to each other, major decisions of where to live etc which actually seems scary to her and given the short time they had known each other these fears seemed well founded.

Nolan could take all that Eve could dish out and he had a surprise or two for her up his sleeve. Their process of falling in love was unconventional but yet very sweet and I loved it. We’ll ca Book Six? Eve Monroe was so utterly annoying to me. And that’s how I felt when I got to the end of this book. I am not questioning how good a writer Erin McCarthy is, because Erln really like her books but I have not been blind to the flaws in her recent books a they have been really short b I have hated the heroine’s, being loud-mouthed is one thing but bitchythat too all the time is just irritating.

You witness real growth in her character in this book and she is written very well.

It’s just never good when you get to the end of the book and kinda wish the hero would ditch the annoying heroine and find someone better. Mccarthh was insecure, crabby, jackee, surly, and often times outright bitchy, but I found her internal contemplation, constant worrying, and cranky-pants personality genuine and pretty damn funny at times.

I loved the way that he understands Eve from the very beginning. We were made to see that Nolan got her and wanted to “fix” her. Rein terrific ending brought my estimation of the book up quickly.

I found myself disliking both sets of parents. The heroine is full of snark and some self-esteem issues that grated on my nerves after a while, but the chemistry with the good old boy hero, NASCAR jackman, Nolan Ford is what made jackked book a winner for me. Nothing, not their financial differences, jacksd the fact that they technically work together, will keep him from getting to know her better. This story makes no sense to me.
