I am not trying to make a case about with my review of my book, I’m simply saying that such a dismissal was entirely out of character for the rest of the book and, for me, lessened the sense of aufderheids and trustworthiness of the author – making for less of a quality book. A very easy and fast read, the first half explains the history and most popular methods and philosophies behind documentary film-making. An interesting book in which the beginning is filled with useful information and insight into what makes the documentary so interesting and how it has evolved into what it is today.
