And thus disputing, they followed close behind the Buddha and his order of monks. Their decay and perishing give rise to sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, beahmajala distress. At the same time, a Brahmin called Suppiya, with his young apprentice, Brahmadatta, were also travelling in the same direction, tailing the convoy of the sangha.
