Overall, this was a fun instalment in the Drake Chronicles, and I look forward to reading more.
It tells us not one thing about Logan, other than the fact that he likes to wear old-fashioned clothing. Her POV was so boring.
Blood Feud (Drake Chronicles, #2) by Alyxandra Harvey
The first book was written in two POVs and like that book this one is too. I was interested in him since Hearts at Stake so I was really happy that this was his story. And the few times that Uarvey was in the book was excellent. Again, not as good as the next book. You bring your friend into the house, but do not mention the man, even though you know she fears men.
Blood Feud is the second book in the Drake series, centering around the Drake family. Want to Read saving….
While I did love the first book a bit more, I still really enjoyed and loved this one as well. This story was so clean I could have read it to my 5 year old. The flash backs for Isabeau were killing me, but necessary Unfortunately this was my first book for this alyxandrra. Gillian Yes, there is romance in it. This book might be more entertaining for It’s a book that has some interesting ideas and mythology, and a really intriguing character in Isabeau — the passages that explore her origins in the French Revolution really lend depth and interest to her — but the balance is wrong.
Hmm, I liked book 1 but this was only an okay read for me.

Crazy evil Montmartre still wants to marry Solange and is still leaving gifts for her I mean can you say creepyand those feid Drake brothers are all here as well as Kieran and Lucy, who was my favourite character from the first book, she cracks me up I love her.

Not as good as the first, Hearts At Stake. As the Drake’s attempt to settle in as the royal family and make peace with other vampire clans, they find the July Book 7: Well, this book decided yarvey for me.
But there is one small thing getting in her way, Logan Drake.

It was a good mix of mystery and action I love! The ending wraps up nicely but I was suprised by a certain character’s death. It’s too bad they couldn’t portray her more accurately. I can see what the author TRIED to do with the narrative, I just wish blooc she had put an effort into forming a cogent storyline, or that she had a better editor.
A great addition to the rake family and the small glimpses of her past only soften me to her even more, but still now as I finished the book I still have no idea what made Logan so special. I couldn’t sympathize with Isabeau. Paperback Harvet eBook Audio.
I received no outside person comments or opinions. The next book in the chronicles Out For Blood November will be told from the point of view of a Helios-Ra agent, and while this one does sound pretty interesting, I hope that we get to meet Isabeau and Logan again, and learn a little more about those other hot vampire brothers too!
I was sucked -mind the pun- into her POV because of my interests in the French Revolution and I think Alyxandra Harvey had enough detail in these paragraphs to keep it interesting and not like a history lesson. Although her relationship with lovely Logan is a perfect balance and they match which is always good.
The narrative is not exactly told in alternate POVs, but rather in blocks. You go outside, see your friend, and yell and scream at the remaining guard.
