Occasionally Vukovic will comment that he has eliminated some variations from his examples for brevity xrt clarity, but with how intensely he covers each example with myriad variations, it is hard to believe he left anything out.

I took my time to study the books variations and applyed it to my real life chess games and was able to out play 2 of my algebra teachers other then that it was a really good book for someone who is looking for aggressive play in chess I look forward to reading more of Vladimir Vukovics chess books to improve for the cess chess tournament over the spring break. I purchased the book about 2 weeks ago and from what i have read so far, i think the book is ok if you are willing to put in the effort that you are going to need to get through it.
No trivia or quizzes yet. You have to sniff it, using the generic attacking principles complex or not and your intuition. I credit this book for helping me create some of my favorite loses – after reading this book I have been all about attacks and sacrifices. Mar 30, 5. It’s a very advanced book — I’m a OTB player and it’s still pretty darn rough to get through.
However, I did find the “BxPch” chapter quite enlightening. I disagree with this. What do you think?
In truth, I generally learn most effectively buy working my way through a book from front to back, understanding the main points of the text, and then returning to the book a few months later to absorb the details.
The part about attacking the uncastled King was especially instructive and I really think I have aytack many games based on the less I picked up here. Guess I must not be serious enough then.

One thing I liked about this book was its treatment of the bishop sacrifice on h7 a classic attack.

That’s what I did with Art Of Attack In Chesshowever I played through many more variations than I would with most books and yet I left many enticing variants for later reads – otherwise I’d never get to write this review! The title of the the book under review at the moment is somewhat deceptive. This book really helped me break out of this counter-productive mindset.
I’ve read my fair share of chess books but in today’s day and age computer software and sites such as this one I would consider much more vuklvic. It is sometimes the case that Vukovic leaves issues incomplete when they are only tangential attakc the current chapter, but iin returns to them in later chapters when the previously hanging topic is more relevant, and then all questions are answered. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I normally study books while at a proper wooden chess board, but I suggest that a digital chess board may be more appropriate.
