As it stands the book is littered with dated slang, unrealistic dialogue, unnatural exclamatory tags, and tiresome quarrels between the two main characters, David and Chelsea. He’s a physician, with a blue-blood pedigree and all the proper seriousness of his profession.

The prose really created a real disconnect for me, and my eyes virtually popped out of their sockets I rolled them so many times. Friends set ocmun up and at first it is oil and water. David is an uptight, stuffed shirt, doctor from Boston.
It was the perfect happy read. David is real and likable, but Chelsea is all over the place.
